The bungalow renovation focused on improvements to the bathrooms and kitchens and some subtle changes to the entrance and overall outlook. Specific owner requirements were to minimise demolition and to retain the existing rosewood dining table and chairs. We worked around this, incorporating panelling that served to unite the various volumes of the 1st storey and further introduced a perforated feature screen that provides a contemporary backdrop to the dining area. The overall effect is a restrained upgrade that provides enlarged living spaces, added privacy and security.
