MWS Bethany Nursing Home

MWS Bethany Nursing Home was our pilot project for many of our ideas revolving around design and transformation. It is on this project that we saw unequivocal evidence that our methodology brings about true transformation in the lives of people. We responded to the brief by creating a unique process that engaged stakeholders and inspired them to imagine what could be. We then led the team through difficult decisions and we dared to try to do something different. One such decision was to relocate bathrooms from the perimeter of the building, to the interior. Convincing the team that this is the right thing to do was underpinned by the process that helped us to imagine what could be. The design language in itself is refreshing, hinting at a bygone age through the screen elements and choice of colours which are applied universally across both male and female wards
